Getting There

    Start your journey by finding the nearest bus stop and taking the Metro Transit bus route 1 (Blue Line) towards the Evansville Transit Center. The bus will take you through the city and drop you off at the Evansville Transit Center. From the transit center, transfer to route 3 (Green Line) heading towards the West Side. Get off at the stop for Tekoppel Ave & Washington Ave. Walk south on S Tekoppel Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach Howell Wetlands at 1400 S Tekoppel Ave.

    If you're comfortable on a bicycle, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service. Start from the downtown area and head west on the Riverfront Trail. Follow the trail as it leads you towards the west side of Evansville, connecting to local bike paths. Howell Wetlands will be on your right at 1400 S Tekoppel Ave.
