Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From downtown Fort Wayne, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Citilink bus service. Take the Route 3 (South) bus, which operates frequently. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the stop near Engle Road and Illinois Road. From there, walk south on Engle Road for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve at 6801 Engle Rd. The preserve will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    Start from the downtown area and head west on the Rivergreenway Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Illinois Road. Turn left onto Illinois Road and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Engle Road. Turn right onto Engle Road and cycle for another 1 mile. Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve will be on your left at 6801 Engle Rd.

  • Walking

    If you're within a few miles of Eagle Marsh, you can walk directly there. Start from downtown Fort Wayne and head south towards Illinois Road. Once you reach Illinois Road, turn left and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with Engle Road, turn right and walk another 0.5 miles. The entrance to Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve will be on your left at 6801 Engle Rd.
