Public Bus
From Gary, you can take the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) bus number 10 towards the South Shore Train Station. Get off at the South Shore Train Station and transfer to the South Shore Line train towards Chicago. Once on the train, it will take you directly to the Millennium Station in Chicago. From Millennium Station, walk east on East Randolph Street until you reach North Michigan Avenue, then turn left. Walk north on Michigan Avenue for about six blocks until you reach East Washington Street, then turn right. The Chicago Cultural Center will be on your left at 78 E Washington St.

Start at the Gary Metro Center. Board the South Shore Line train heading towards Chicago. Stay on the train until you reach the Millennium Station. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit the station and head east on East Randolph Street. Turn left on North Michigan Avenue and walk north for about six blocks. Turn right on East Washington Street, and the Chicago Cultural Center will be on your left at 78 E Washington St.
