From downtown Gary, head to the nearest bus stop on Fifth Avenue. Board the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) bus route 10 or 11 heading towards the Miller Beach area. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes, enjoying the views of the city. Disembark at the stop near the intersection of Fayette St and 3rd Ave. From there, walk south on Fayette St for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach Duneland Village located at 350 Fayette St.

If you are near the Gary Central Station, you can walk to Duneland Village. Start by heading east on 5th Ave towards Washington St. Turn right onto Washington St and proceed south until you reach 3rd Ave. Turn left onto 3rd Ave and continue until you reach Fayette St. Turn right onto Fayette St and walk for about 10 minutes until you arrive at 350 Fayette St.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bike in Gary, make your way towards Lake Street. From there, take Lake Street east until you reach the bike path that runs along the shoreline. Follow the path until it intersects with Fayette St. Turn left onto Fayette St and bike south for approximately 1 mile until you reach Duneland Village at 350 Fayette St.
