    From Gary, Indiana, head to the Gary Metro Center. You can take a bus or walk to the Metro Center. Once there, purchase a ticket for the South Shore Line train heading to Chicago. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride until you reach the Millennium Station in Chicago. Upon arrival, exit the station and walk east on East Randolph Street for one block until you reach North Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and walk north until you reach East Madison Street. Turn right on Madison Street, and you will see the Sullivan Center at 9 E Madison St on your left.

    Start at the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) bus stop near your location. Check the GPTC schedule for buses heading towards Chicago. Take a bus to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) station, such as the 95th/Dan Ryan station. From there, transfer to the Red Line train towards Howard. Ride the train to the State/Lake station.
