From Gary, Indiana, head to the Gary Metro Center. You can take a bus or walk to the Metro Center. Once there, purchase a ticket for the South Shore Line train heading to Chicago. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride until you reach the Millennium Station in Chicago. Upon arrival, exit the station and walk east on East Randolph Street for one block until you reach North Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and walk north until you reach East Madison Street. Turn right on Madison Street, and you will see the Sullivan Center at 9 E Madison St on your left.

Public Transit (Bus)
Start at the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) bus stop near your location. Check the GPTC schedule for buses heading towards Chicago. Take a bus to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) station, such as the 95th/Dan Ryan station. From there, transfer to the Red Line train towards Howard. Ride the train to the State/Lake station. Exit and walk east on East Washington Street, then turn left on North State Street. Walk north until you reach East Madison Street. Turn right on Madison Street, and you will find the Sullivan Center at 9 E Madison St on your left.

If you are staying in downtown Gary, start from the Gary City Hall. Walk east on 4th Avenue until you reach Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and continue walking until you reach the Gary Metro Center. From there, follow the previous instructions to take the South Shore Line train to Millennium Station in Chicago. After arriving at Millennium Station, head east on East Randolph Street to North Michigan Avenue, turn left, and walk north to East Madison Street. Turn right, and the Sullivan Center will be on your left.
