Getting There

• Car

  If you are starting from the nearest major city, Tell City, IN, head east on IN-66 E for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto IN-145 N and continue for approximately 5 miles. Then turn right onto County Road 1200 N. Follow this road until you reach the entrance to German Ridge Recreation Area, which will be on your left. Note that parking is available at the recreation area, and there are no fees for entry.

  Public transportation options to reach German Ridge Recreation Area are limited. However, you can take a Greyhound or local bus service to Tell City.
