Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Tell City, IN. Head east on IN-66 E for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto N 3rd St, then take a left onto IN-37 N. After about 6 miles, turn left onto Forest Road 131. Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the Two Lakes Loop Trail parking area on your right. Look for the trailhead sign at the entrance.
Public Transportation + Walking
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Tell City to the nearest stop on IN-37. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles north along IN-37 to reach the intersection with Forest Road 131. Turn right onto Forest Road 131 and follow the road for about 1 mile until you reach the Two Lakes Loop Trail parking area. Be prepared for a walk along the highway, and ensure you have appropriate walking shoes.
