Start at the Lafayette Public Library located at 627 South Street, Lafayette, IN 47901. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop at South Street and 6th Street. Take the CityBus Route 1 towards the Lafayette Mall. Ride for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the stop at 30th and Salem Street. From the bus stop, walk east on Salem Street until you reach County Road 200 S. Turn right on County Road 200 S and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Fairfield Lakes Park.
Bicycle
If you are biking from downtown Lafayette, start at the intersection of Main Street and 2nd Street. Head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach South Street. Turn left onto South Street and continue for about 1 mile until you reach 30th Street. Turn right on 30th Street and follow it for 0.5 miles until you reach Salem Street. Turn left on Salem Street and ride for another 0.5 miles until you reach County Road 200 S. Turn right onto County Road 200 S and continue for about 0.5 miles until you find the entrance to Fairfield Lakes Park.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Purdue University campus, start at the Purdue Memorial Union. Head south on Grant Street and continue for about 1 mile until you reach South Street. Turn left onto South Street and walk for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach 30th Street. Turn right on 30th Street and walk east for about 0.5 miles until you reach Salem Street. Turn left on Salem Street and continue for 0.5 miles until you arrive at County Road 200 S.
