Car
From the main attractions in Morgan-Monroe State Forest, head east on State Road 37. Continue on SR-37 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with I-465. Merge onto I-465 N towards Indianapolis. After about 8 miles, take exit 49A to merge onto I-65 S towards Louisville. Continue on I-65 S for about 4 miles, then take exit 112A to merge onto I-70 E. Stay on I-70 E for about 3 miles, then take exit 83A toward Keystone Ave. Merge onto S Keystone Ave. and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto E Pleasant Run Pkwy N Dr, then turn right onto Pagoda Dr. Garfield Park will be on your left at 2345 Pagoda Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46203. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $5.
Public Transportation
To reach Garfield Park via public transportation from Morgan-Monroe State Forest, you will first need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to the nearest bus station in Bloomington, Indiana. Once at the bus station, board a bus heading to Indianapolis (look for routes provided by Greyhound or a local transit service). Upon arrival in Indianapolis, transfer to the IndyGo public bus service. Take Bus Route 10 (East Washington St) towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop at E Pleasant Run Pkwy N Dr. From there, it’s a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to Garfield Park, located at 2345 Pagoda Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46203. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they vary by day.
