From the Morgan-Monroe State Forest, head west on State Rd 46. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with State Rd 67. Turn right onto State Rd 67 heading north. After about 6 miles, turn left onto Fish Creek Rd. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will find Owen-Putnam State Forest located at 2153 Fish Creek Rd, Spencer, IN 47460. Parking is available at the forest entrance.
Public Transportation + Taxi/Rideshare
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Bloomington to Spencer via the regional transit service. Upon arrival in Spencer, you may need to call a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Owen-Putnam State Forest, which is approximately 10 miles from the bus stop. Bicycle
