Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown New Albany, head east on E Main St. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. As you approach the intersection with E 22nd St, look for the entrance to Loop Island Wetlands on your left. The wetlands are located at 2200 E Main St.

  • Biking

    For those who prefer biking, start from the New Albany Riverfront Park. Head east on the Ohio River Greenway Trail. Follow the trail for about 1.5 miles until you reach E Main St. Turn left onto E Main St and bike for about a quarter mile. The entrance to Loop Island Wetlands will be on your left at 2200 E Main St.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Loop Island Wetlands via public transportation, take the TARC bus 71 or 72 from downtown New Albany. Ride the bus toward the E Main St stop. Disembark at the E Main St & E 22nd St stop. From there, walk west on E Main St for about 0.2 miles. The entrance to Loop Island Wetlands will be on your right at 2200 E Main St.
