From downtown Richmond, head to the nearest bus stop for the Richmond Transit System. Take the Route 1 bus towards the Richmond Mall. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Richmond Mall stop. From there, you will need to transfer to a taxi or rideshare service, as the Levi and Catharine Coffin State Historic Site is located in Fountain City, approximately 8 miles away. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes.

Start at the center of Richmond at the corner of Main Street and 5th Street. Head north on 5th Street and take a left onto East Main Street. Continue on East Main Street until you reach US Highway 27. Turn right onto US Highway 27 and follow it north for approximately 8 miles. The Levi and Catharine Coffin State Historic Site will be on your right at 201 US Hwy 27, Fountain City, IN 47341. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.

If you wish to walk, begin at the corner of Main Street and 5th Street in downtown Richmond. Walk north on 5th Street to East Main Street, then turn left.
