Getting There

  • Public Bus

    If you are near downtown South Bend, you can catch the Transpo bus at the South Bend Regional Airport stop. Take Route 5 towards the South Bend Airport and get off at the stop labeled 'Greenlawn & Riverside'. From there, walk east on Greenlawn Avenue for about 0.5 miles. The zoo will be on your left at 500 S Greenlawn Ave.

  • Bicycle

    Start at the South Bend Riverwalk. Head northeast towards Mishawaka Avenue, then take a left onto Mishawaka Avenue heading west. Next, turn right onto Greenlawn Avenue and continue for about a mile. Potawatomi Zoo will be on your right at 500 S Greenlawn Ave.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the River Park neighborhood, simply walk south along Greenlawn Avenue. The zoo is located at 500 S Greenlawn Ave, approximately 1 mile south from the River Park area. Just follow the road and you will see the zoo entrance on your left.
