If you are starting from the South Bend International Airport, exit the terminal and head southwest on Terminal Drive. Continue onto Lincoln Way W, then turn left onto State Road 933 N. Follow this road for about 2 miles. After crossing the South Bend River, turn left onto W Colfax Ave and continue for 0.5 miles. Turn right onto N Lafayette Blvd, and you will find the Cathedral of St James at 117 N Lafayette Blvd on your left.

From the South Bend International Airport, take the Transpo Route 5 bus towards Downtown South Bend. Disembark at the South Shore Line station (approximately 30 minutes). From there, board the Transpo Route 1 bus towards Michigan City. Get off at the stop on N Lafayette Blvd and walk north for about 5 minutes to reach the Cathedral of St James at 117 N Lafayette Blvd.
