Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the downtown area of Terre Haute, head east on Wabash Ave toward S 6th St. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach S 3rd St. Turn left onto S 3rd St and walk for another 0.3 miles. After that, turn right onto E Poplar St and continue for approximately 0.8 miles. Dobbs Park Nature Center will be on your left at 5170 E Poplar St.

    From the Terre Haute Transit bus station located at 8th St & Wabash Ave, take Bus Route 1 (East Side) towards the East Side. Get off at the stop near the intersection of E Poplar St and S 6th St. Walk east on E Poplar St for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Dobbs Park Nature Center on your right at 5170 E Poplar St.
