Walking
If you are starting from the Terre Haute City Center, head east on Wabash Ave toward 6th St. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach 3rd St. Turn left onto 3rd St and walk for about 0.4 miles. Then, turn right onto Poplar St. Continue on Poplar St for approximately 1.2 miles. The Native American Museum will be on your right at 5170 Poplar St.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Terre Haute City Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Wabash Ave. Board the local bus that heads towards Poplar St. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the appropriate route number going in the direction of Poplar St. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to 5170 Poplar St, disembark and walk about 0.1 miles east to reach the museum.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Terre Haute. Start at the City Center and head east on Wabash Ave. After about half a mile, turn left onto 3rd St and bike for 0.4 miles. Next, turn right onto Poplar St and continue biking for 1.2 miles. The Native American Museum will be on your right. There are bike racks available at the museum for parking.
