Public Transit
Start at the West Lafayette Public Library located at 208 W Columbia St. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Columbia St. Board the CityBus Route 1 (Red Line) heading towards Lafayette. Travel to the stop at W 2nd St & N 4th St. Here, transfer to Route 4 (Gold Line) towards the West Lafayette Airport. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at W 850 N. From the bus stop, walk approximately 5 minutes northwest along W 850 N to reach the Cairo Skywatch Tower.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, start at the Purdue Memorial Union. Head north on Grant St. towards W 3rd St. Turn left onto W 3rd St and continue until you reach N River Rd. Turn right onto N River Rd and follow the path along the Wabash River. When you reach W 850 N, turn left and bike for about 10 minutes to arrive at the Cairo Skywatch Tower.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start at the Purdue University campus. Head north on N Grant St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with W 3rd St. Turn right on W 3rd St and follow it until it becomes N River Rd. Continue walking along N River Rd until you reach W 850 N. Turn left onto W 850 N and walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach the Cairo Skywatch Tower.
