Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Purdue Memorial Union located at 101 N Grant St, West Lafayette. Head south on Grant St for about 0.3 miles until you reach State St. Turn left onto State St and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. At the intersection with US-231, cross over to the other side of the road. Follow State St as it becomes IN-225. Continue on IN-225 for about 2 miles until you see signs for Prophetstown State Park. The park entrance will be on your left at 5545 Swisher Road.

  • Biking

    Begin your journey at the Purdue University campus. Head north on the Wabash Heritage Trail, which runs along the Wabash River. Follow the trail for about 3.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Swisher Road. Turn left onto Swisher Road and bike for about 1 mile to reach the park entrance at 5545 Swisher Road. This route provides a scenic ride along the river and through the park area.

  • Public Transportation

    Catch the CityBus Route 1 at any nearby stop in West Lafayette. The bus will take you to the Lafayette Transit Center. From there, transfer to Route 3 towards the East Side. Ride until you reach the stop at US-231 & IN-225. From this stop, you will need to walk about 1 mile along IN-225 heading north to reach the Prophetstown State Park entrance at 5545 Swisher Road.
