Car
If you are driving from Banda Aceh, take the Jalan Lintas Sumatera road (National Route 1) heading towards the northwest. Continue for about 75 kilometers until you reach the city of Sabang. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal to reach the island of Weh. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal in Weh, you can either rent a car or hire a local taxi. The drive from the ferry terminal to Anoi Itam Beach will take approximately 30 minutes. Follow the road signs towards Sukajaya, and once you reach the area, look for the signs indicating Anoi Itam Beach.
Public Transportation
From Banda Aceh, take a public bus to the ferry terminal in Ulee Lheue. Buses leave frequently and the fare is around IDR 20,000. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Balohan, Weh Island (costing approximately IDR 50,000). The ferry ride takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Balohan, you can catch a local taxi or minivan to Anoi Itam Beach. The taxi fare should be around IDR 150,000, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
