If you're driving from Banda Aceh, head northwest on the Jalan Soekarno Hatta road for approximately 30 km until you reach the ferry terminal at Ulee Lheue. Take a ferry to Balohan, Sabang. The ferry ride takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour and costs approximately IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 per person. Once you arrive at Balohan, follow the road signs to Sabang. Continue on the main road for about 15 km until you reach Iboih, where Gapang Beach is located. Look for the signs directing you to Gapang Beach as you approach the area.

Public Transportation
From Banda Aceh, take a public minibus (angkot) to the ferry terminal at Ulee Lheue. The fare is around IDR 10,000. Once you reach the terminal, buy a ferry ticket to Balohan, Sabang (costing about IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000). After arriving at Balohan, you can catch a local taxi or rent a motorbike to reach Gapang Beach, which is about 15 km away. Ensure you negotiate the taxi fare beforehand, which should be around IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000.

For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike at Balohan after your ferry ride. Rental prices are generally about IDR 75,000 to IDR 100,000 per day.
