Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Banda Aceh, take the Jalan Soekarno-Hatta road and head northwest towards the city of Sabang. The journey is approximately 50 km and takes around 1.5 hours. Once you reach the city of Sabang, follow the signs to Pantai Sumur Tiga, which is located in the Sukajaya district. As you get closer, you will see signs directing you to the beach. The final stretch involves a few smaller roads, so be sure to use a GPS or a map app for precise navigation.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Pantai Sumur Tiga via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Banda Aceh to the city of Sabang. Buses to Sabang depart from the central bus terminal in Banda Aceh. The fare is usually around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000, and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Upon arriving in Sabang, you can take a local angkot (minibus) or a taxi to Pantai Sumur Tiga. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip, as prices may vary.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Sabang to Pantai Sumur Tiga. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should typically cost around IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000 for the ride, depending on your bargaining skills and the taxi's condition. The drive will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off directly at the beach.
