Getting There

• Bicycle

  If you're staying in the Seminyak or Kuta area, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Start by heading south on Jalan Raya Seminyak until you reach Jalan Sunset Road. Turn left and continue straight until you reach Jalan Raya Legian. Follow this road until it becomes Jalan Pantai Kuta, which will lead you directly to the beach. From there, you can ride along the coast towards South Kuta. Once you reach Balangan Beach, look for signs directing you to the access point.

• Motorbike Taxi (Gojek or Grab)

  Download the Gojek or Grab app on your smartphone. Open the app and set your pickup location as your current address in Bali. Type 'Balangan Beach' in the destination field. The app will provide you with the estimated fare and the driver's details. Once your driver arrives, hop on and enjoy the ride to Balangan Beach. The journey should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Transport (Bemo)

  To take a Bemo (shared minivan), find the nearest Bemo station in Kuta or Legian. Look for a Bemo heading towards Ungasan or Nusa Dua. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Balangan Beach. The ride may take about 40 minutes, and you might need to change Bemos at the Ungasan terminal. Once you arrive in the Ungasan area, ask locals for directions to Balangan Beach, as it is a popular spot.

• Walking

  If you're close to Balangan Beach, you can walk there from nearby areas like Dreamland Beach. Start at Dreamland Beach and head south along the beach path. Follow the coastline, and after about a 15-20 minute walk, you will reach Balangan Beach. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it can be hot.
