Bicycle
If you're staying in Ubud, you can rent a bicycle from any local shop. Head west on Jalan Raya Ubud towards the Jalan Monkey Forest intersection. Continue straight onto Jalan Raya Campuhan, then follow the road as it curves left into Jalan Raya Sayan. Keep cycling until you reach the T-junction, then turn right onto Jalan Raya Petang. Follow this road for about 8 km, and you will see signage for Bali Elephant Camp (Carangsari) on your left.
Public Bus
From Ubud, take the Perama shuttle bus to Denpasar. Get off at the Denpasar bus terminal. From the terminal, take an angkot (public minivan) heading towards Badung Regency. Request to be dropped off at Carangsari. It is advisable to check the schedule in advance as buses may not run frequently. Once dropped off, Bali Elephant Camp is a short walk from the main road.
Walking
If you are near the Carangsari area, you can walk to Bali Elephant Camp. Just head towards the main road (Jalan Raya Carangsari) and look for the signs indicating the camp. It's a scenic walk if you're staying nearby, allowing you to enjoy the local scenery.
Taxi/Grab
Use a local taxi or the Grab app, which is popular in Bali. Simply input 'Bali Elephant Camp' into the app. If you're in Ubud, it should take around 25 minutes to reach the camp. Ensure you confirm the driver's understanding of the location before starting your journey.
