Bicycle
If you're in Ubud, you can rent a bicycle and head north on Jl. Raya Ubud towards Jl. Raya Tegallalang. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Jl. Raya Kintamani. Turn left and follow this road, which will lead you through beautiful rice fields and small villages. After about 1 hour of cycling, you will arrive in Kintamani. Look for signs pointing towards South Batur, as 'Bali Trekking Adventure' is located near the foot of Mount Batur.
Scooter
From Ubud, you can rent a scooter. Start on Jl. Raya Ubud and head towards Jl. Raya Kintamani. Follow the signs to Kintamani. As you ascend, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and lakes. After about 30-40 minutes, you will reach a fork: take the left road leading to South Batur. Keep an eye out for 'Bali Trekking Adventure' signage as you approach the area.
Public Bus
To get to Kintamani from Ubud, you can take a public bus from the Ubud Bus Station. Look for the bus heading to Bangli. Once you arrive in Bangli, you can transfer to a local bus or take a bemo (shared minivan) heading to Kintamani. Ask the driver to drop you off at South Batur. 'Bali Trekking Adventure' is a short walk from the drop-off point.
Walking
If you're staying nearby in South Batur, simply walk towards the main road and head towards the signs for 'Bali Trekking Adventure'. The area is relatively small, and you can ask locals for directions if you're unsure. It's a lovely walk with scenic views along the way.
