Bicycle
If you're staying in Ubud, you can rent a bicycle and ride towards Karangasem. Start by heading east on Jl. Raya Ubud, then follow the signs for Jl. Raya Bangli. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Jl. Raya Amlapura. Turn left onto Jl. Raya Amlapura and follow it until you see the signs for Bugbug Village. The village is located on Jl. Telaga Ngembeng; you will find it on your right.

From Ubud, head to the Ubud Traditional Market to catch a bemo (a shared minibus). Look for a bemo heading to Amlapura. The bemo ride will take about 1-1.5 hours. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection near Bugbug Village. From there, it's a short walk down Jl. Telaga Ngembeng to reach your destination.
