Start your journey from the Ubud area. Head to the Ubud Monkey Forest stop, where you can find a local bus that goes to Singaraja. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Wanagiri Village stop. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Wanagiri Village, you can ask locals for directions to Buyan Lake, which is about a 30-minute walk downhill from the village.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Ubud. Head north towards Jl. Raya Taro and then follow signs to Jl. Raya Wanagiri. The ride will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. Be prepared for some uphill sections. Once you reach Wanagiri Village, ask locals for directions to Buyan Lake, which is a 30-minute walk downhill.
