If you are in Kuta, take the Perama Bus directly from the Perama Office in Kuta. The bus departs several times a day towards Ubud. Ask the driver to drop you off at Ubud Central. This journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ubud, you can take a local bemo (shared minibus) or a taxi to get to Danau Beratan.

From Ubud, head to the Ubud Market area where you can catch a bemo to Candi Kuning. The bemo will drop you off at Candi Kuning, which is the nearest stop to Danau Beratan. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the lake.

Taxi
From Ubud, you can also hire a taxi. It is recommended to negotiate the fare beforehand or use a ride-hailing app like Grab or Gojek if available. The drive to Danau Beratan from Ubud takes about 45 minutes, and the taxi can drop you off right at the entrance of the lake.

Motorbike Rental
For the more adventurous, consider renting a motorbike in Ubud. Follow the main road north from Ubud, and then take the road towards Baturiti. It will take you around 1 hour to reach Danau Beratan. Make sure to use a GPS or a map application to help navigate the local roads.
