To get to Jl. Tanah Lot from Kuta, head to the nearest local bus station (e.g., Kuta Station). Take a public bus heading towards Tabanan. You can ask the driver if they stop at Tanah Lot. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you reach Tabanan, you may need to take a short local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to reach the Tanah Lot area. The minibus will drop you off near the entrance.
Bicycle Rental
If you are feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle in Canggu or Kuta. Head towards the main road going north, following signs to Tabanan. The ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to bring water and sunscreen. Once you approach the Tanah Lot area, there will be signs directing you to the entrance.
Taxi or Ride-hailing Service
Open a ride-hailing app like Gojek or Grab on your smartphone. Enter 'Tanah Lot' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location in Bali. The drive from Seminyak or Canggu should take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location well, as Tanah Lot is a popular tourist destination.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Beraban, you can walk to Jl. Tanah Lot. Start from your accommodation and head east toward the main road. Follow the signs leading to Tanah Lot. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from the center of Beraban. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
