If you are in Ubud, you can rent a bicycle and take the Jl. Raya Ubud road heading north. Follow the road for about 15 km until you reach Kintamani. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and be sure to stop at the various viewpoints to take photos of the beautiful rice terraces.

From Ubud, you can rent a motorbike. Take Jl. Raya Ubud north until you reach the T-junction. Turn left onto Jl. Raya Tampaksiring and continue straight. Once you reach a fork, keep to the right to merge onto Jl. Raya Kintamani. Follow this road for about 30 minutes until you arrive at Kintamani. Be cautious of the winding roads and enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Batur.

Public Transportation (Bemo)
Head to the Ubud Central Bus Station and look for a Bemo (minibus) heading to Bangli. Get on the Bemo, which is usually quite affordable. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kintamani. The ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you reach the Kintamani area, you may need to walk a bit to reach your specific destination.

If you are already in the Kintamani area, walking is a great way to explore. From the main road, walk towards the lake area, following the signs to either Lake Batur or Mount Batur. The paths are well-trodden and lead you through beautiful landscapes. Just ensure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes.
