Ask the driver to drop you off at South Batur, which is the area near Mt Batur. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

Rent a motorbike from any rental shop in Ubud or Seminyak. Follow the road signs towards Kintamani. You will take Jalan Raya Ubud heading north, then continue on the road until you reach the Tegalalang area. From there, follow the signs to Kintamani. The ride will take about 1.5 hours, and once you reach Kintamani, look for signs to South Batur. Be cautious of the winding roads and traffic.
