Ask the driver to drop you off at South Batur, which is the area near Mt Batur. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

You will take Jalan Raya Ubud heading north, then continue on the road until you reach the Tegalalang area. From there, follow the signs to Kintamani.
