To reach Manuaba Waterfall from Ubud, which is a popular area for tourists, you can take a local taxi. Simply go to any taxi stand in Ubud, or use a ride-hailing app like Grab. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Kenderan, Tegallalang, Gianyar Regency'. The journey should take about 20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the waterfall.
Motorbike Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a motorbike in Ubud. Head to a rental shop, which can be found along the main streets. Once you have your motorbike, exit Ubud and drive north towards Tegallalang. Follow the signs for Tegallalang Rice Terraces, then continue towards Kenderan. The waterfall is a short ride from the main road. Look out for local signs directing you to Manuaba Waterfall. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive safely!
Bicycle Rental
For a more scenic and eco-friendly option, consider renting a bicycle in Ubud. Many shops offer bike rentals. From Ubud, cycle north towards Tegallalang, enjoying the beautiful rice fields along the way. The ride is approximately 9 kilometers and may take around 40 minutes. Once you reach the Kenderan area, ask local residents for directions to Manuaba Waterfall, as it is a well-known spot.

If you’re staying in Tegallalang, you can walk to Manuaba Waterfall. Start from the Tegallalang Rice Terraces and head north on the main road. Look for signs for Kenderan, which is approximately a 3-kilometer walk. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the terrain can be uneven and may require some effort.
