Getting there

Taxi

If you are in Ubud, head to the main road (Jalan Raya Ubud) and look for a taxi stand. You can also use ride-hailing apps like Grab or Gojek. Request a ride to Mertasari Beach, located in the southern part of Bali in the Semawang area of Sanur. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Bicycle

If you are in the Sanur area, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Start at Jalan Danau Tamblingan and cycle towards the beach. Once you reach the beachfront path, continue along the coast until you arrive at Mertasari Beach. The ride is pleasant and takes about 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport (Bemo)

From Kuta, walk to the nearest Bemo station, which is usually located near the main tourist area. Take a Bemo heading to Denpasar and get off at the Terminal Ubung. From there, transfer to another Bemo that goes to Sanur. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mertasari Beach. The entire journey may take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Walking

If you are staying in Sanur, Mertasari Beach is accessible on foot. Start from Jalan Danau Poso and head towards the beach. Follow the path that leads directly to the beachfront. It should take around 15-20 minutes to walk there, enjoying the local scenery along the way.
