Public Bus
To reach Mount Batur Sunrise Activity using public transportation, start by heading to the main bus terminal in Denpasar (Terminal Bus Ubung). From there, take a bus heading to Bangli. Once you arrive at Bangli terminal, you must take a local bemo (minibus) to Kintamani. The bemo ride will take you through scenic views of rice paddies and local villages. Ask the driver to drop you off at Songan A, which is the closest village to Mount Batur. From Songan A, you can hire a local guide or a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you to the base of Mount Batur, where the sunrise trek begins.

Motorcycle Rent
If you are comfortable riding a motorcycle, you can rent one in popular tourist areas like Ubud, Seminyak, or Kuta. Once you have your motorcycle, set your GPS to Mount Batur's coordinates: -8.2325934, 115.3924644. The journey from Ubud will take approximately 1.5 hours. Head northeast on Jalan Raya Ubud and follow signs towards Kintamani. The road will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Kintamani, continue to Songan A and follow local signs to Mount Batur. Make sure to arrive early to start your hike before sunrise.
