Public Bus
From Ubud, take a public bus from the Ubud Central Station to Bangli. The buses usually depart every hour. Once you arrive in Bangli, head to the local market and ask for directions to Kintamani. You can catch a local bemo (minibus) that will take you to the Kintamani area. Inform the driver that you are going to Mount Batur.

Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle in Ubud and cycle to Mount Batur. Head north out of Ubud towards Jl. Raya Tegallalang, then follow the signs to Kintamani. The ride is about 30 kilometers and will take around 2-3 hours. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy, as the roads can be winding and steep.

For a quicker option, rent a motorbike in Ubud. Head north on Jl. Raya Ubud, then take Jl. Raya Tegallalang towards Kintamani. Follow the road until you reach the junction to Jl. Pendakian Gn. Batur. The journey should take about 1.5 hours. Be cautious of the road conditions and traffic.
