Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Ubud, head to the Ubud Central Bus Station. Look for a bus heading to Bangli. Once you arrive in Bangli, you will need to transfer to a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to reach Kintamani. Inform the driver to drop you at the Museum Geopark Batur, located on Penelokan Main Rd. The museum is about a 30-minute ride from Bangli.

• Bicycle

  If you are in Ubud, you can rent a bicycle and bike towards Kintamani. Start from Ubud and head north through the rice fields, following the signs towards Kintamani. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Kintamani, ask locals for directions to Museum Geopark Batur on Penelokan Main Rd.

• Ojek (Motorcycle Taxi)

  If you are staying in the nearby area or in Ubud, you can use an ojek service. Use an app like Gojek or Grab to request a motorcycle taxi. Input 'Museum Geopark Batur' as your destination. Your driver will take you directly to the museum, which is located on Penelokan Main Rd in Kintamani. The ride from Ubud typically takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking

  For those adventurous enough, you can walk from the Kintamani area to Museum Geopark Batur. If you are staying in Kintamani, simply head towards Penelokan Main Rd. The museum is located approximately 3 km from the Kintamani center, and the walk will take about 40-50 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
