Start your journey by taking a public bus from Denpasar to Ubud. Buses frequently depart from the Ubung Terminal in Denpasar. Once you reach Ubud, disembark at the Ubud Central Station. From here, you will need to take a local bemo (minibus) heading towards the direction of Petang. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Nungnung Waterfall.

After arriving in Petang, look for a bemo that goes to Belok/Sidan. It may take a bit of waiting, as they operate on-demand. Once you are on the bemo, inform the driver that you wish to visit Nungnung Waterfall. They will drop you off at the closest point, usually at the main entrance area.

From the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 20-30 minutes down a series of steep stairs to reach the waterfall. Follow the signs that direct you to Nungnung Waterfall. The trail is well marked, and you will enjoy the lush jungle scenery along the way. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes, as the path can be uneven.
