If you are in Ubud, you can rent a bicycle and cycle towards Padang Bai Beach. Start at Ubud Palace and head south on Jalan Raya Ubud. Continue on this road as it becomes Jalan Raya Tampaksiring. Follow the signs towards Gianyar, and when you reach the T-junction, turn left onto Jalan Raya By Pass. This route will take you through beautiful rice fields and small villages. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon reaching the beach, you will find signposts guiding you to the beach area.
