To reach Pura Penataran Ped from mainland Bali, start your journey from Padangbai harbor. Take a local public transport (bemo) or a taxi to Padangbai if you're not already there. Once at Padangbai, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nusa Penida. The ferry ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival at Nusa Penida, you'll land at the port in Toya Pakeh. From Toya Pakeh, you can hire a local taxi or take another bemo heading towards Ped, Klungkung. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pura Penataran Ped, and they will drop you off near the temple. The final distance to the temple is about 5 km from Toya Pakeh, which takes roughly 15 minutes by car.
