From Ubud, head to the Ubud Central Bus Station and take a bus heading to Bangli. The bus ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Bangli, disembark at the bus station. From there, look for a local minivan or bemo that goes to Kintamani. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off near Pura Perapen Batur.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Ubud. From Ubud, head towards the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, then continue east towards Tegallalang Village. Follow the main road until you reach the intersection with the road to Kintamani. Take the left fork which will lead you towards Kintamani. It is a long ride, approximately 30 km, and will take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. As you approach Kintamani, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Pura Perapen Batur.

If you are staying in Kintamani, you can walk to Pura Perapen Batur from the center of Kintamani. Head south on the main road, and after about 2-3 km, you will see signs for Pura Perapen Batur. The temple is located on a slight hill, so be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach.

Rent a motorbike in Ubud or Kintamani. From Ubud, follow the main road to Bangli, then continue up towards Kintamani. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Kintamani, use your GPS to navigate to Pura Perapen Batur, which is located at P9R8+RCC, South Batur. The ride is scenic, so take your time and enjoy the views.
