Start your journey at Ubud, a popular area for tourists. Head to the Ubud Bus Station, where you can find local buses heading to Singaraja. Board the bus that goes to Singaraja, which is a scenic ride through the countryside. Once you arrive at Singaraja Bus Station, you can ask for directions to Munduk, which is a nearby village. Take a local bemo (minibus) or a shared taxi from Singaraja to Munduk. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Pura Ulun Danu Tamblingan, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, it's a short walk to the temple.

If you're comfortable riding a motorbike, rent one in Ubud or any other tourist-friendly area. Make your way towards Munduk by following the signs for Bedugul. The ride is about 30 km and takes around an hour. As you approach Munduk, look for Jl. Danau Tamblingan on your left. Park your motorbike in a safe area and walk towards the temple. The temple is located along this road.
