Getting There

Public Bus
From Ubud, take a public bus to Singaraja. The bus terminal is located at Ubud Central Market. Once you board, ask the driver to drop you off at Singaraja. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. After arriving in Singaraja, locate the local transport (bemos) heading towards Munduk. These bemos can be found near the Singaraja bus station. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Danau Tamblingan, which is about a 30-minute ride from Singaraja.

If you're in Lovina, you can take a bemo directly to Munduk. Find a bemo near the Lovina beach area. The bemo ride will take around 30 to 40 minutes. Once you reach Munduk, tell the driver you want to go to Danau Tamblingan. From Munduk, it's a short walk or you can hire a local guide to take you to the lake.

If you’re comfortable riding a motorbike, you can rent one in Ubud or Lovina. From Ubud, head north towards Bedugul via Jl. Raya Bedugul. Follow the signs for Munduk. After you pass through Bedugul, keep following the signs until you reach the junction for Jl. Danau Tamblingan. Continue on this road for about 8 km until you arrive at Danau Tamblingan.
