To reach Tamblingan from Lovina, head to the main road and catch a bemo (shared minivan) heading towards Munduk. Inform the driver that you want to go to Tamblingan. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the intersection of Jalan Danau Tamblingan. From there, walk about 1 kilometer down the road until you reach the entrance of the jungle track.

From Ubud, take a bemo to Singaraja via the main road. Once in Singaraja, transfer to another bemo heading to Munduk. Keep an eye out for the sign for Tamblingan Lake. This trip may take about 2 hours total. Alight at the junction of Jalan Danau Tamblingan and walk about 1 kilometer to the Tamblingan Jungle Track.
