Public Transport - Bus
From Ubud, head to the Ubud Central Bus Station (Terminal Ubud). Take a bus heading to Singaraja. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Singaraja, ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Desa Sekumpul' stop. From there, you can take a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to the Sekumpul Waterfall. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the ride.
Public Transport - Ojek (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you are in Singaraja, you can hire an ojek directly from your accommodation or nearby street. Show the driver the address: Jalan Air Terjun Desa Sekumpul, Kecamatan Sawan. The ride will take about 30 minutes, and you’ll enjoy scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear a helmet and confirm the fare before starting the journey.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in the Sekumpul area, you can walk to the Sekumpul Waterfall. Follow Jalan Air Terjun, which is well-marked, and enjoy the lush scenery. The walk will take you about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Be mindful of the terrain as it can be uneven in some parts.
Public Transport - Shuttle Service
Some hotels or tourist agencies in Bali offer shuttle services to popular attractions. Check with your hotel in Ubud or elsewhere in Bali to see if they have a shuttle that goes to Sekumpul Waterfall. This is often the most convenient option as they will handle all logistics and drop you off directly at the waterfall entrance.
