Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you're in the southern part of Bali, consider renting a bicycle to reach the Turtle Conservation and Education Center (TCEC). Start from Kuta Beach and head southeast to Jl. Raya Kuta. Continue onto Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai, then turn left onto Jl. Tukad Punggawa. Follow this road until you reach the TCEC located at Jl. Tukad Punggawa, Serangan, Denpasar Selatan.

  • Public Transport

    From Ubud, take a public bus (Bemo) heading to Denpasar. Once you arrive at the Denpasar bus terminal, transfer to a local Bemo that goes to Serangan. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jl. Tukad Punggawa. After reaching Serangan, the TCEC is a short walk from the Bemo drop-off point; just follow the signs along Jl. Tukad Punggawa.

    If you're staying close to the beach in Sanur, you can walk to the Turtle Conservation and Education Center. Walk along the beach promenade heading south, then follow the signs to Jl.
