From Ubud, start by heading south on Jl. Raya Ubud. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jl. Raya Campuan. Turn right onto Jl. Raya Campuan and follow it until it turns into Jl. Raya Sayan. Continue on this road, which will lead you towards the main road, Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai. Once you reach Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai, turn left and continue heading south. Follow the signs towards Sanur. After approximately 30 minutes, you will see signs for Mertasari Beach. Turn onto Jl. Mertasari and follow this road until you reach the beach parking area. Be prepared to pay a small parking fee, typically around IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000.

Public Transportation (Bemo)
From Ubud, head to the Ubud Market area where you can catch a bemo (shared minivan). Look for a bemo heading to Sanur. The fare is usually around IDR 20,000 per person. The bemo will take you along the main roads, and it will take about 30 to 45 minutes to reach Sanur. Once in Sanur, get off at the main road and ask locals for directions to Mertasari Beach, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the bemo drop-off point. Alternatively, you can take a short taxi ride from the bemo stop if you prefer not to walk.
