Interesting day along the East Coast

Great day out with Nyoman! It was a long day mostly due to traffic that was navigated with skill, but we were able to see all we wanted on the itinerary. Nyoman had lots of local information to share and was keen to show us the sights and answer questions. Easy and comfortable way to see the East Coast of Bali. We were lucky with only a 20mins wait for photos at Gate of Heaven but were told there can be waits of hours so be prepared for spending time. Couples may wish to choose matching sarongs at the entry point for the photo “look”

Wonderful Time at the Gate of Heaven Tour

I had an absolutely amazing time during the Gate of Heaven tour. My tour driver was Dwi. He did a wonderful job explaining the history of the places we visited and he also helped me take lots of great pictures. The Gate of Heaven temple itself is simply breathtaking and is definitely a highlight of the tour. The only thing I would recommend is that you take an umbrella or a rain coat since it rained a lot at the location. Dwi helped me with this so I was very grateful. The water gardens at Tirta Gangga were especially beautiful with the ancient statues and koi fish ponds. Lastly, I was very impressed with the tour lunch at the De Louise restaurant. The food was top notch and the Indonesian chicken curry was incredible.

Wonderfull trip

Today, thanks to Polih, we made it to the temple called the Gates of Heaven, visited the Water Palace, enjoyed a coffee tasting, and saw the Kanto Lampo waterfall as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Polih to everyone. He is very kind, friendly, and a fantastic tour guide.
