Public Bus
From the Kuta area, head to the nearest bus station, which is in the direction of Denpasar. Take the 'Bali Trans' bus heading towards Tabanan. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Tabanan. The bus ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Tabanan, you will need to take a local bemo (minibus or shared taxi) or a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to Batu Bolong Temple. The bemo usually leaves from the bus drop-off point and will cost you a small fare. The ride from Tabanan to Batu Bolong Temple should take about 20-30 minutes.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in the Canggu area, which is close to Batu Bolong Temple. From Canggu, ride north towards Jalan Pantai Beraban. Follow the road until you reach the junction where you turn left onto Jalan Batu Bolong. Continue on this road until you reach the temple. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes and will offer you beautiful views of the rice fields along the way.
Motorcycle Taxi (Ojek)
If you are in a central area of Bali, you can use a motorcycle taxi service like Gojek or Grab. Open the app, set your pickup location, and enter 'Batu Bolong Temple' as your destination. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your starting point. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.
Use Batu Bolong Temple as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
