Walking
If you're in the central area of Ubud (around Monkey Forest Road or Ubud Market), simply head towards Jl. Raya Ubud. You can enjoy the scenic views along the way. As you walk, look for signs leading to Ubud Palace. The Palace is located at Jl. Raya Ubud No.8, and you should reach it in about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.
Bicycle Rental
Consider renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Ubud. Once you have a bike, head towards Jl. Raya Ubud. It’s a straight route to the Palace. You can park your bike at designated bike racks outside the Palace. Rental costs typically range from IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 per day.
Local Shuttle or Ojek (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local shuttle or an ojek. For an ojek, simply find a driver near your hotel or request one via a ride-hailing app like Gojek or Grab. The fare should range from IDR 10,000 to IDR 30,000 depending on your pickup location. Ask the driver for Jl. Raya Ubud No.8, and they will take you directly to Ubud Palace.
