If you are traveling by car, start from Tanjung Pandan, the main city in Belitung. Head south on Jl. Raya Tanjung Pandan and continue until you reach the junction with Jl. Perawas. Turn left onto Jl. Perawas and follow the road for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Kaolin Lake. You will need to park in designated areas near the lake. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

Public Transportation
To reach Kaolin Lake by public transportation, you can take a local minibus (angkot) from Tanjung Pandan. Look for angkots heading towards Perawas. These minibuses are available at various points in the city, especially near the market. Once on the angkot, inform the driver that you are going to Kaolin Lake, and he will drop you off at the nearest stop. The fare is usually around 10,000 IDR. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the lake.

Motorbike Rental
For a more flexible option, consider renting a motorbike in Tanjung Pandan. Places around the town offer rentals at affordable rates, typically around 75,000 IDR per day. Once you have your motorbike, follow the same directions as for cars: head south on Jl. Raya Tanjung Pandan, turn left onto Jl. Perawas, and follow the signs to Kaolin Lake. This option allows you to explore the area at your own pace.
