If you're driving, start your journey from the city center of Banten. Head east on Jl. Raya Serang – Jakarta (highway) for approximately 40 km. Take the exit toward Cilegon and continue on the road. After about 10 km, follow the signs to Bogor and merge onto Jl. Raya Bogor. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach the area close to Gua Gudawang. Look for GGR6+HRX, Argapura, Cigudeg, Bogor Regency, West Java 16660 on your GPS. The cave will be located a short drive from this area. Be aware of potential toll fees when using the highway.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Banten. Take a bus heading towards Bogor. The trip may take around 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Bogor, you need to switch to a local minibus (angkot) that goes to Cigudeg. Inform the driver you are going to Gua Gudawang, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the entrance of the cave. Keep some cash handy for bus fares and angkot rides, which typically cost between 20,000 to 50,000 IDR.

An alternative and adventurous option is to rent a motorbike in Banten. You can find rental services near the city center. Once you have a motorbike, head east on the Jl. Raya Serang – Jakarta highway for about 40 km. After exiting toward Cilegon, follow the signs to Bogor. The ride should take around 1.5 hours. Use a navigation app to locate Gua Gudawang (GGR6+HRX, Argapura, Cigudeg) as you approach the area. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
